The 5th Sunday in OT: The faithful woman is holy and humble in conversation.
Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to help the girls recognize that faith is lived not only in belief, but in how we speak to and about others. Through the virtue of humility, the girls are invited to examine their words and conversations, learning that holy speech requires reverence for the dignity of every person. This lesson encourages the girls to practice holy curiosity, avoid gossip and uncharitable speech, and allow their faith to shape their conversations so that their words reflect trust in God, love for neighbor, and openness to the work of the Holy Spirit.
The 6th Sunday in OT: The faithful woman reconciles with her sisters and brothers.
Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to help the girls understand reconciliation as an essential expression of faith and Christian love. By reflecting on God’s mercy revealed in the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the call to forgive others as we have been forgiven, the girls are invited to examine how pride, anger, and resentment damage relationships. This lesson encourages the girls to seek peace with God, others, and themselves, recognizing that forgiveness is not weakness but an act of faith that restores communion and reflects Christ’s mercy within the Body of Christ.
