Ascension of the Lord — The Prudent Woman Has Mentors

Purpose: This lesson forms the girls to recognize that prudence is not lived in isolation but is cultivated through wise and loving mentorship. By reflecting on Christ’s Ascension and the role of spiritual mothers, the girls learn the importance of receiving guidance from women who model virtue, faith, and maturity. They are encouraged to seek mentors who help them discern truth, grow in wisdom, and take the next faithful step forward in their journey toward holiness.

Pentecost — The Prudent Woman Seeks God’s Counsel

Purpose: This lesson teaches the girls that prudence begins with listening for God’s voice and relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. By exploring the gift of the Spirit at Pentecost, the girls learn that wisdom is not something they must possess on their own but something God generously gives when they ask. They are formed to seek God’s counsel through prayer, Scripture, and the teachings of the Church, trusting that the Holy Spirit actively directs their decisions toward what is true, good, and beautiful.
